&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m a big fan of free stuff and I did evaluate quite a few freeware offerings, including the ones you mention, when I was looking at what was available.  For me, though, none of these quite fitted the bill in terms of the flexibility that I was looking for and VTrain, although shareware, did emerge as my clear favourite.&lt;/p&gt;
